It’s Christmas Time!!!!

Well, the season is upon us and every year at this time people change……into grabbing clawing, ruthless,spineless, just all around mean people. In my years, I’ve seen people from all walks of life express many feelings during the “Holiday Season”. They range from loving to just plain spiteful. But in the last few years or so, they have been in the latter area. Like the poor guy who got trampled when the doors of a Target store opened on Black Friday. it’s not the first time it’s happened, there are those who died I seem to recall in past debauches in the mindless quest to save a few bucks on one item or another. A few year back I remember a Walmart employee was shot dead because the store misplaced a Lay-Away!  Where is the compassion? What happened to Christmas?

I know, I know…..your saying It’s still around….it’s in your heart….blah…blah…blah! If it’s in your hearts…then let it show people!!! Be more compassionate. Be more loving. Be more OF the spirit and less in the spirits! (Hint…hint)

I try to be positive during the Christmas Season. I smile more than usual, I try to make others feel better about the things happening around them. I try to remind others or the good things in life instead of focusing on all the negative things that tend to drag us down.

I guess I’m a hopeless romantic when it comes to the Christmas Season. I’m all about lights, music, friends, and most family.

I watch “The Polar Express”, I sing along to the song “When Christmas Comes to Town”…. I’m weird in that I see the connection of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to the Christmas side of things.

My other half has a very negative attitude on Christmas, (As with most holidays), Now that we’ve moved up north to help his family…his Mom is the same way. I see now where he got it from and I battle this every day. There’s always something bad happening…so at Christmas…how about letting that aspect go for awhile and seeing the good in life!!! I hear “I got no money so I can’t buy anyone any Christmas gifts…I want it to be over fast.” Well if buying gifts is all the holidays are about…no wonder your miserable! It’s not all about gift giving of the monetary kind…how about the most wonderful gift you CAN give…and I might add, IT DON’T COST A THING BUT A FEW SECONDS OF YOUR TIME Give your love and friendship!!

AND…I don’t want the Christmas Spirit to “be over fast” I want to feel it awhile…it could be a long year until next Christmas!!!

Well...I feel again that time has come to vent on the events in the world in my perspective. The thoughts and views in this blog are not the expressed views and opinions of anyone other than myself so,if you are upset and easily offended then I would suggest that you read a less truthful blogger and put your rose colored glasses back on otherwise.. read on and be prepared to be "shocked and maybe awed" by my thoughts.

It has been almost a year in the making but I'm positive I can speak for thousands when I say...Waa...Waa...Waa....Miss Lohan. I've watched you whine, beg, and intentionally disreguard the court system just as countless other diva wannabes have and now your in the slammer for 90 days,(We hope?). It remains to be seen if this will happen or not but I for one think you deserve much more than mere 90 days for the tricks and total disreguard for the rules we all must abide by but you in your childish thoughts seem to believe that you are above the law? Get a grip. You are an example to girls the world over and now your a sad pathetic hussy. Go to jail...go directly to jail...do not pass go and do not collect $200.000.00!!!

In the news tonight a story about illeagl immagrants, (Mexicans), are in a hurry to leave the great state of Arizona before the new laws take effect. The federal government is trying to sue the state into submission and it's just wrong!!! Not the law...the lawsuit!!!

GET A LIFE!!! If your here illeagly...GO BACK TO WHERE YOUR FROM IF YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HERE!!! It is partly Americans fault to. I heard it said once that mexicans do jobs the americans don't want to do and now americans need the jobs but want to be politicaly correct??? C'mon!!! I saw that the Arizona schools are loseing students...well...good...maybe now AMERICAN children will get a better education now that the mexicans are going! Instead of our tax dollars going to support the babymakers of a forigen land and not to the children who need it. Maybe class size will be such now that OUR kids will get the education they deserve and not backseat to a bunch of oppertunists who care nothing for their own country and want to live almost free and clear here off our kindness and tax dollars. I hope that Arizona prevails in this debate AND other states will stop being patsies to people who can't support their own country and are bringing ours down to by being here illeagally!!!

Now to the Gulf Coast. BP is ever so slowly working on the mess that they created. I have a real problem with a company that has billions of dollars and tons of technology at their disposal and this is the best they can do with capping a gushing oil pipe? I think they are just trying to hike the price of crude up so they can turn a profit and in the long run...try to look like humanitarians. BS in the first degree!!!!

I'm gonna stop for now. I (as is the rest of the world...) am waiting with baited breath....to see where "King James" decides to play basketball and get millions each year to look stupid. Let's all hope that this is not another Michael Vick in the making!!

Well, I've changed the name of the blog to where I now reside! Virginia is history so now I will be blogging on things here in MI! Oh joy. Things here seem to be far better here than in The Old "Demonic"(Dominion) State. I got out just in time it seems, as a republican is about to take over the governmental affairs of Va. It'll make things even harder for those poor GLBT folks to be productive and have a decent life I fear but unless they try to make changes...let's just say they won't get what they paid for in that theater. At least here the GLBT community is trying to make changes. Kalamazoo accomplished alot just yesterday in fact. I just hope it stays that way. As far as personal news...I bought a house here and am trying to get a business started. It's slow going but I'm hopeful it'll work out. Keep your fingers crossed. Well, got to get back to business now and I'll try to up date as often as possible. But, judging from the date of my last post here....we'll keep our fingers crossed on that to. LOL!! Until net post...Stay Gay!!!

We Ain't A Gonna Miss Ya!

Well, Jerry Fallwell is in the cold, cold ground. I speak on my behalf when I say, I feel more secure now than I have in years!!! It's a sad statement of the person, when people seem to feel better when someone like Falwell passes. He may have had some good points, but they were always overshadowed by his total lack of "christian" compassion. His un-waivering hate of some people in the world, that he was suppose to minister to. His lack of forgiveness. His twisting of facts to fit HIS agenda. Not the God he claimed to represent. The only God Jerry Fallwell represented was a MATERIAL GOD. If it did not benifit Jerry Fallwell, it was wrong.

I have sympathy for his Family. They feel they have lost someone dear to them. But he was not so dear to alot of others. I, as a gay man, feel just in saying, I am confident that when I get to Heaven, I won't have to see the likes of Jerry Fallwell there because of his acts on earth, the God he so tried to force others to see, now see's him in all his faults and deciept. He will be in hell, and nashing his teeth with the best of them,(or worst), sadly enough. I am sorry for his family. If they inheirit any of his misguided hate and malcontent, they will be with him. Now, all I can do is wait for the other demon to die. Pat Robertson is on his last legs from the looks of him. He's about due to face judgement too. As stated before, it's sad when a majority thinks the world would be a better place without them in it. They both started of with good intentions but greed and self righteousness got in the way. (In Pat Robertson's case, lunacy helped.)

AND....how 'bout them Illegal Immigrants? I still fail to see why the federal government wants to give rights to people who break our laws and kill people.

I had to laugh at Jay Leno the other night, He said a truth that escaped alot of people. In his monolog he said, Mexicans and illegal immigrants do work alot of Amercains won't do, give them citizenship, and they will stop doing it to, then more immigrants will have to come in to fill those jobs......See it won't stop until we enforce THE LAWS!!!! If things are so bad in Mexico, all the people who could be shipped back because they won't abide by US laws, should go back, and if they really tried....they could make it better there instead of making it worse here! Illegal Immigrants need to go back to mexico or wherever and change their country, not ours! If America is so unfair, GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!

Where's the Justice???

Well...it's been a long time but I have
seen and heard enough to get back on my soapbox and rant again!!!

In the past year I have seen gay marriage sink into near oblivion,
people killed with no actions taken by police as well as in the recent few weeks, illegal
immigrants march for rights they do not deserve and a radio icon has been toppled by a remark about a certain race of people that is used between said race, but don't let a white man use the same type of remark!!!! It is raceist!!!

Yet... in this "Free Country" that is soooooooo tolerant, people of all races can still call homosexual people, or race if you will, FAG, RUMP RANGER, PERVERT, SICK SON OF A BITCH, HELL BOUND, WORTHLESS, and just about any and all things hateful that can be used for a person/people, and it's OK??????

I see no one marching in front of any organization that slanders
gays!!!! I see no political figures in the US Capitol, stepping up and saying this is wrong, I see no state congress passing a resolution apologizing for hateful things said
let alone done to the gay community in the past!!!!! But let one man say something about a black man, woman, or child and it's not right??? Get a life you morons!!!!! Hate of any kind is not right!!!!

I see no Radio personality decrying the degree of hate leveled at gay
and lesbian Men, Women, OR CHILDREN!!!!!!
But let a drunk illegal Mexican kill two young white girls....It's
reprehensible? It's no less reprehensible than what Mr. Imus said, or the fact that the same Mexican guy was arrested previously in Chesapeake, Virginia, and his license being
suspended, WHICH, he never had IN THE FIRST PLACE BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE US ILLEGALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not even a Social Security Number??????
Hmmmm....can someone clue in the government officials running the cities, states, and country that there is something wrong with the system????????
Something is wrong with a society as a whole, when a whole class, race,section of people are still looked down on, put down, and violence leveled against them and STILL nothing is done to correct it.
I am sorry that two families lost two young and wonderful children by the ignorant selfish act of one individual who seems to have no regard for others and is so......ignorant.

I am saddened that a moment that should have been something special for a team of talented girls was tarnished by one person's insensitive remark.
But what really gets to me is the way those things and more are still
tolerated and in some places even accepted or expected to continue and are not decried by others as was the remark by Don Imus.
The senseless deaths of gays being gunned down or dragged down dirt roads, or attacked with bats in a vacation resort, has continued .
Attacks on gay adults as well as young children that are allowed to continue!!!

Perhaps when this society both here and abroad at the very least tries to be accepting of all people, I might be a little more understanding of the ignorance that currently prevails.

My sympathies go out to Don Imus, on the racial double standard that has lead to his removal from CBS.

My heart goes out to the two families, shattered by the actions of a drunk illegal alien and inaction's of government to scared to step up and protect it's citizens.

My mind still sees the image of Matthew Shepard hanging
on a fence.
My heart goes out to all gay, lesbian, transgender people who are still not protected from this and other horrendous and hurtful things that are still going on and happening to them....us, for no reason at all except IGNORANCE.

WHAT THE HE-DOUBLE TOOTHPICKS, IS GOING ON??

Here it is the sixth week of 2006 and already way to many things are happening to make a gay man cry!!!
First the Virginia congress has put gay marriage on the chopping block and now some sick kid is chopping and shooting his way through a Massachusetts gay bar and parts of Arkansas???? What is happening to this country???
First off the "voters" of this great commonwealth state would rather vote for Clinton than see a gay couple happy!!! It's just one more nail in the coffin of gay marriage as I see it in Va. I must admit however that from the way things seem in Hampton Roads, gays and Lesbians don't care either way. No one is saying anything statewide. I don't see any call to action being posted on any sites that are running in Virginia. So to hell with it. That is the attitude I'm getting. If I want to marry the love of my life I'll have to live in another state that does accept gay marriage/unions. BULLCRAP!!!! It's sad when the only thing gays think about is where they are going to get drunk on Friday or Saturday night and hopefully score some new dick while their lovers are out working or even worse...Standing there watching and/or filming!!!!!!
WAKE UP GAY VIRGINIA!!!!! BEFORE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FREEDOMS LEFT!!!!!
And, to those poor people in that bar in Mass. My heart goes out to them. It seems more and more idiots are marching into the only places we have to scocialize and be ourselves in and defiling them. It's not like gays and lesbians go marching into churches or "straight" bars and shoot the bigots who are depreciating our lives. But, kill a few fags...It's OK!!!!! This is just my thought, That punk should have never made it out of that bar!!!! I'm not normally violent but it's like if you come in my house to take things away from me...You gonna get hurt!!!! Little by little these bigots and morons are taking away your, and my freedoms with each killing or "rampage" as I've seen the terms arranged.
I for one have from time to time thought about moving to Canada. At least there we are better treated as people than in "The Most Free Country In The World" When America becomes what it THINKS it is....maybe I'll show more respect.

Well, I'm back. I have gone through ALOT of personal changes since my last posting. Top of the list...My mom passed away. I'm hiding from the fact by keeping real busy. I'm also getting ready for a trip/vacation to Mich. with my lover to spend Christmas with his parents. I just don't feel I can handle the emotions of "The Holiday Season" in Virginia, so...Go north and avoid it all!!
I'm in the process of opening up a new website for my business. I've closed my brick and mortar store and am opening an online store for the time being. There is just so much to do when a relative passes away and your the only child. I tell everyone, with each passing day I get more respect for Homeowners!!!! Now that I AM a homeowner!!!
