I'm still on about the mess down in New Orleans but at least things are getting better for those poor people!!
My other half is happier as of today, he's now eligible for Workmans Comp. He found out today so he is not as stressed for money now. I'm happy for him, but..... I'll leave it at that. ;-p

Took the day off from the shop to surf the net and fill out endless ad questionaires.I hope it will all be worth it down the line!!

Well, I've waited long enough and built up enough steam to start this thing!! I'll start by stating that I'm older than dirt and set in my ways But I still get on a soapbox for what I strongly believe and stand for. So get ready.
My first rant is on how some people have tried to turn the tragedy in the Gulf Coast to a race thing!!!!! Mr. K. West is now on my crap list. He's the lowest form of racist. He needs to help people instead of trying to divide people!! It IS sad that a great number of people in New Orleans were seen looting and stealing...But hey...That's what was going on!!! Get real! And it IS a sad fact that more blacks were stuck there so it stands to reason that a lot more blacks were seen stealing. That does not mean that whites were not doing it to, nor does it mean that all blacks are thieves.
Tonight it became truly clear that no one is exempt. While watching MSNBC....The reporter was riding with a New Orleans Police sergeant...While he was out there trying to help he receives a cell phone call from a neighbor that HIS house was being robbed!!!! Upon arriving to his home...He finds that his home has in fact been broken into and some valuables were stolen. The home was ransacked and all happens while he is out there trying to help the same idiots that are robbing him!!! What is going on???
In the first days of the reports from New Orleans, a spokesperson for the La. State Police, stated,"The scenes of people looting, stealing, and robbing, should not be construed as the actions of the people of New Orleans, or the sate"??? What planet was this woman on? It IS the people of New Orleans, that are doing this crap!!!
The government and Bush need to be held accountable for this tragedy!

I salute the people that are risking life and family to help others. I think that shoot on sight needs to be ordered for those that are caught stealing from there neighbors and that all the reporters need to forget about "the story" and HELP SOMEONE!!!!!!
get a grip!! Put down that camera and HELP SOMEONE!!! Stop talking about why no one is helping and HELP SOMEONE!!! Only then will the world see that this Great Country IS of and For the people instead of just out for the individual.!!!

If you see that someone needs help, black or white, HELP THEM!!!

for a realistic laugh at this whole mess go to the following address and listen to Foamy's Hurricane Report!!
